Up the Mountain

The game features 3 puzzles, each with unique mechanics and at least two solutions. These solutions are representative of one of the two factions that are competing to win the favour of their god. The player will randomly become part of one faction at the start of the game, but otherwise retain the same abilites. This will be used to evaluate whether the player’s faction has any effect on their approach to solving the puzzles. The project will most likely be mechanically complete, but not visually impressive. The aim is to test the playability of the project and collect data for our thesis.

To Save a Soul

To Save a Soul is a 3D, stylized, from a 3rd person perspective, adventuring puzzle game played on PC. The story takes place in Limbo, with the heir of limbo as the main character. The game will feature heavy themes and create a moving story with a player choice at the end. You as the heir will venture into the memories of souls that are just at the brink of death. In doing so, you will create a connection with the souls, understanding their fears, joys, regrets, and loves. In the end, you will have to make a complex ethical decision about what is right or wrong. Trying to restore the balance and where the echoes of the past meet the possibility of the future.

The Ultimate Hack

The Ultimate Hack is a multiplayer competitive tabletop game, in which you have to strategize and vitalize your memorizing skills to gain advantage over your opponents. Play as quirky hackers who have decided to join a contest within which every one of them aims to conduct the ultimate hack. Memorize, plan and adapt to win! The game has been developed by a single person, sporadically, over many years; with the ambition of publishing, and potentially turning it into a digital game as well.
