Sunseeker

Sunseeker is a 2D platformer that encourages the player to explore the environment to find the whole of the bigger story being told, rather than to overly challenge the skill set of the player. The game’s main purpose is to tell the love story of the main character Huo’er the fox. The story is one inspired by Chinese myth and folklore, where Huo’er falls in love with a human named Yang, who saved him from drowning in a river. Huo’er finds himself seeking help from various Yaoguai, which could be described as spirits, creatures, or maybe demons, to find a way he can express his love for Yang. The game is a cosy and interactive way to let the player explore this story and take part in Huo’er’s journey to find his way.

Stellar Repair

In Stellar Repair, you and a friend collaborate to reach a high score and achieve bragging rights. Cooperation and communication are integral as you take turns giving instructions to repair the spaceship. Each task will award you a set amount of points depending on how fast you complete them, and when the five minute timer runs out, your final score will be displayed. The actual build is a model of a UFO, with various inputs like buttons, wires, and levers scattered around. Tasks range from pulling levers, pushing buttons, navigating mazes, and more! In technicality, the whole game functions as a collaborative set of microgames that must be completed as quickly and accurately as possible to achieve the high score.

Snap-a-Saurus: Pictures of the Past

(our name) is a player-versus-player photography game where the players compete against each other to take the best pictures of dinosaurs. Using their camera-shaped controller, the players will receive a score for each photo they take. The score will change based on which parts of the dinosaur are in the frame, as well as if the dinosaur is centered or obscured. The first photo of each dinosaur taken will net the photographer more points than any subsequent photo. The faster a player is to take clear photos of new and exciting dinosaurs, the more points they will receive. The game will consist of three one-minute rounds, and the player that has scored the most points at the end of all three rounds will win the game.
