Joust Royale

Experience a new kind of jousting in Joust Royale! Battle up to four players locally on your couch in this comically twisted version of medieval jousting. Shields up, lance up and mount a gastropod to become victorious. Royal Features: – Charge at your opponents, aim, and strike them with your lance! – Precisely time a powerful swing of your shield to SHATTER your opponent’s lance! – Fabulously customize your mighty gastropod riding knight to your heart’s content! – Explore different game modes with special rules. Find the game mode that you enjoy the most. Could it be stealing plumes from each other, playing until the last man standing, or maybe capturing the golden plume? You joust, you decide! – Saddle up! Not on horses! Riding horses in games is for the common people and we true knights will go riding on speedy-shelled gastropods or snails as you can also call them.

Force of Nature

This game is a 2D character action game with minor platforming but centred on comboing attacks with element-based abilities. It is a level-based game however this is a vertical slice project so will be displaying one finished and polished level at GGC. You play as an unnamed character who caused the world to go into chaos after stealing a vital artifact from an abandoned temple belonging to mother nature. Upon touch, the artifact transforms into a whip and wraps itself around the character, making itself a part of them. The environment around them has turned hostile because of your actions and the only way to stop the destruction of earth is for you to die. You can use the whip as a melee attack but pair it with each of your abilities to cause further damage output and other secret abilities for you to learn.

The Ultimate Hack

The Ultimate Hack is a multiplayer competitive tabletop game, in which you have to strategize and vitalize your memorizing skills to gain advantage over your opponents. Play as quirky hackers who have decided to join a contest within which every one of them aims to conduct the ultimate hack. Memorize, plan and adapt to win! The game has been developed by a single person, sporadically, over many years; with the ambition of publishing, and potentially turning it into a digital game as well.

Whack-A-Bro

Standing in front of each other over a campfire, these former enemies have now found out that they have bigger issues when the sun passes the horizon, they must work together together to keep the campfire lit by using the most literal interpretation of the stone age-old adage “If it’s not working, have you tried hitting it?” to keep the fire alive so they can see their enemies in the cold night. Still having some conflict the paleolithic pals channel their hatred into squashing the bugs landing on eachother, with their club. Whilst in the magic circle the players will take their turns in this stone age high-action screenless game to hit the buttons located on the other players’ vest lit up by LED lights in a high action environment, sometimes being interrupted by the campfire going out. Restore safety and get back to bug squashing.
