Wind Riders

Our team wants to create a game where you are racing against yourself or others in a sailing game. The booth will be built like two (very small) boats and one screen. The boats will have a physical rudder and sail. The main mechanics of the game is a rudder that controls the steering of the boat and a sail that you will have to catch the wind in. The high concept of the game is having two players plus some bots that race against each other just like Mario Kart. Also in this version the boats are fully fledged, something that looks like the hull and front of a boat with a viking theme. We also want fans that indicate the direction of the wind and really make the player feel like they are in a boat on an open sea.

This game was awarded the Jury Spotlight Award at the Gotland Game Conference 2024.

Metamorph

Metamorph is a low-poly 3D horror game that blends body horror and a narrative about growing up in a body that very quickly becomes foreign to you with aspects of the visual novel genre. The game is envisioned as a slow-paced atmospheric game that aims to envoke a growing sense of discomfort in an environment that slowly progresses and evolves alongside the player. Though the game is story-driven, as a team we’ve attempted to mix the story with interesting and engaging gameplay features and a unique visual style that mixes both traditional 2D and 3D graphics with mixed media and creative technical implementation. You play as a high school girl who wakes up one day and realizes she is slowly but surely turning into a twisted, bizarre cockroach monster. With this realization, she sets out to score a date with her crush before her grotesque transformation is complete. Will she succeed… Or will the pressures of high school and being stuck in a horrifying lovecraftian nightmare be too much? Play through an engaging story about teenage woes, explore a detailed 3D environment, experience a variety of minigames and prove that appearances aren’t anything, even when said appearances are a bit unconventional.

Metamorph was awarded Best Storytelling at the Gotland Game Conference 2024.

Museum.exe

“Museum.exe” is a virtual museum that exhibits some of the most notable indie games from the last decade. It is a 3D first-person game with a carefully curated collection of critically acclaimed projects, where the player explores and interacts with exhibits, learns about games and the influence they had on the industry. Just like in a real museum, we bring forward the concept and the ideas behind each of the exhibits but also we do this in the best way games can be presented – also through a game.

Museum.exe was awarded the Jury Spotlight Award at the Gotland Game Conference 2024.

Moccoletti

Moccoletti is a 2-4 player arena-style game with full controller support, where players will run around a garden maze, trying to deplete one another’s candle by shooting gusts of wind, navigating, dodging, or hiding in the dark to avoid the same happening to them. The game uses a pixel-art style, heavily relying on a mix of theatre and carnival aesthetics. The players choose between a wide selection different carnival mask as characters; and a range of weapons which all shoot wind in different ways (a hand fan is slow but hits a wider angle, while a hair dryer shoots in a straight line but has to recharge for a while to be useable again). The players can choose between different game modes for a free-for-all, or a team-based experience for a longer series of games to blow each other away in a carnival evening of chaos and mayhem!

Moccoletti was awarded Best Presentation at the Gotland Game Conference 2024, hand has since been released on Steam.
